Top Dog Petwear was opened in 2006 in Scarborough, North Yorkshire by Suzanne Fletcher. Suzanne had a beautiful Golden Retriever called Bracken (who very sadly passed away on 13th December 2007) and her parents have a cheeky Cocker Spaniel, Toby. While searching for a shoe which would stay on Toby’s poorly paw, Suzanne realised what wonderful ways there were to pamper her pets. Knowing that she wasn't the only pet owner in Scarborough who wanted their dogs and cats to have the very best, Suzanne opened a pet boutique at 1 Dean Road, Scarborough. After a number of her customers – who had come from up and down the Yorkshire Coast and beyond – asked if they could buy their designer petwear from her by mail order, she decided to open an online store.
Top Dog Petwear stocks a wide range of fashionable pet products from Puchi Petwear and designer dog clothing from the Puppia and Puppy Angel range. We also have luxurious dog beds and pet carriers from Louis Dog and wonderfully squashy dog dozas and cat nappas from Cosi Pole at Creature Clothes. We sell a fabulous range of collars and leads, some hand made in England using Spanish saddle leather or Italian leather. Many of the dog leads and dog collars are studded with very sparkly Swarowski crystals – and the cat collars are too!
